<p><strong>Uber Airport Parking Heathrow – Terms and Conditions</strong></p> <p><strong>General Terms</strong></p> <ul> <li>These terms and conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Uber Airport Parking Heathrow Ltd.</li> <li>By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.</li> <li>Uber Airport Parking terms comply with UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.</li> <li>Uber Airport Parking reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. Customers will always be bound by the latest version available on our website or upon request.</li> <li>For bookings made through third-party websites or agents, customers are deemed to have accepted Uber Airport Parking terms and conditions upon confirming their booking with the third party. A £30 charge applies for vehicle deliveries after midnight.Damage caused by external factors, such as weather conditions, vandalism, or acts of nature.</li> </ol> <li>Vehicles and their contents are left at the customer’s own risk while parked at our facilities. Customers are advised to ensure their vehicles are fully insured.</li> <li>Uber Airport Parking maximum liability for any damage claim is £750, which includes all direct damages proven to result from staff negligence.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reporting and Repair of Damages</strong></p> <ul> <li>Customers must inspect their vehicle and report any damage to Uber Airport Parking staff immediately upon collection.</li> <li>Claims must be submitted with a completed complaint form, available from Uber Airport Parking staff, and photographic evidence of the vehicle’s condition. Claims reported after collection will not be considered.</li> <li>If a damage claim is accepted and liability is confirmed, the customer must pay a £750 excess fee before repairs commence. This fee will only apply to damages directly caused by staff negligence.</li> <li>All repairs must be carried out exclusively by garages approved by Uber Airport Parking. Repairs by unauthorised third parties will not be reimbursed.</li> <li>Uber Airport Parking will endeavour to respond to complaints within 14 working days.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Vehicle Movements</strong></p> <ul> <li>For operational or security reasons, Uber Airport Parking may move vehicles between parking sites, which may be up to 50 miles from the drop-off location.</li> <li>While moving vehicles, Uber Airport Parking will exercise reasonable care. Liability applies only during vehicle handling, not while parked.</li> <li>Customers are informed at the time of booking that their vehicle may be moved between locations, and some parking sites may not be equipped with CCTV.</li> <li>Personal property left in the vehicle or coach or left unattended at any time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Optional Vehicle Inspections</strong></p> <ul> <li>Customers may request a detailed inspection of their vehicle (e.g., paintwork and bodywork) upon drop-off or collection for a fee of £10.</li> <li>If no inspection is requested, it will be deemed that the customer has waived the right to dispute the vehicle’s condition upon drop-off. Uber Airport Parking recommends customers utilise this service for greater transparency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Customer Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Customers must:</li> <ol> <li>Ensure their vehicle is roadworthy, taxed, insured, and holds a valid MOT certificate before using Uber Airport Parking services.</li> <li>Take clear photographs of their vehicle, including all sides and angles, and note the mileage before drop-off.</li> <li>Remove all valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle.</li> <li>Provide spare keys if required.</li> </ol> <li>Customers must inspect their vehicle upon collection. Any unreported damage at this stage will be deemed to have occurred outside Uber Airport Parking responsibility.</li> <li>Uber Airport Parking will not accept liability for:</li> <ol> <li>Vehicles that are not roadworthy or legally compliant, including those without valid MOT, tax, or insurance.</li> <li>Faulty keys, alarms, or immobilisers.</li> <li>Delays caused by non-functional vehicles or customer delays in collecting their vehicle.</li> </ol> <li>Uber Airport Parking reserves the right to refuse service, decline claims, or inform relevant authorities (including the DVLA or law enforcement) if a vehicle is found to be non-compliant with UK law</li> </ul> <p><strong>Exclusions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Uber Airport Parking is not liable for:</li> <ol> <li>Loss or damage covered by the customer’s own insurance.</li> <li>Indirect losses, such as missed flights, accommodation costs, or other consequential damages.</li> <li>Loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles, including keys or electronics.</li> <li>Loss or damage due to weather, vandalism, terrorism, or natural disasters.</li> <li>Minor scratches, dents, or chips that cannot be detected on dirty or dusty vehicles.</li> </ol> <li>In cases of disputes involving third-party claims, customers must first seek resolution through their own insurer. Uber Airport Parking will provide reasonable assistance but accepts no liability for such claims.</li> </ul> <p><strong>CCTV and Data Protection</strong></p> <ul> <li>CCTV is maintained for operational purposes but is not guaranteed to cover all areas or incidents.</li> <li>Requests for CCTV footage must comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and include specific details (e.g., date, time, and location).</li> <li>Uber Airport Parking reserves the right to decline requests where footage is unavailable or outside the retention period.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Transport to and from the Airport</strong></p> <ul> <li>Customers must ensure they arrive at least 100 minutes before their airline’s recommended check-in time.</li> <li>Large groups may not be accommodated on a single transfer bus.</li> <li>Only guide dogs are allowed on transfer buses; no other animals are permitted.</li> <li>Safety in the Car Park</li> <li>Customers must follow all directional signs and drive no faster than 5MPH.</li> <li>Children must be supervised at all times. If you drive anywhere within the ULEZ, including the Heathrow Airport from 29 August 2023, and your vehicle does not meet the emissions standards, you will have to pay a charge of £12.50. Please make sure to set up AUTO PAY when coming to the airport to avoid any penalty tickets. The operator will not be liable in case you receive a penalty for not paying the ULEZ charge.<br>Your car may be moved between yards whilst parked with us.
